I give up!!!
I have been trying to tune my vpc/s-afc combo for years now with no luck
long story, when I think I am running lean, my plugs are black and I get no knock, when I try to lean things a tiny bit, suddenly knock goes through the roof, I get 250km a tank if I am lucky, car runs like poo, & I cant do WOT.. after 4000 rpm (WOT) it just chokes & misfires (new NGK plugs gapped @ 0.028" and new wires), black puff when I floor it, and when I lean it even 2% on the SAFC my knock goes to the sky..anyway, it gets more complicated but I wont bore you now
so I need a 4wd dyno and some one who knows what they are doing
locally of course anywhere from oshawa to sauga, downtown to newmarket
any recommendations?

From my expeience trying to tune a VPC/SAFC combo, a reprogrammed ECU is the only way to get things correct for BOTH WOT, and cruise/idle.
(And that ECU chip included some MAJOR changes)
I just don't think the VPC is a very good option for a street car. It does some stuff that's FINE for WOT, but is REALLY not good for cruise. (I'm betting your fuel trims are always stuck at 81?)
My advice: if you want good fuel mileage, and better low end "response", etc... ditch the VPC. It's pretty old equipment (HKS doesn't even make parts for them anymore) and there are better options out there now.
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

I would tend to agree with Steve. Ditch both the AFC and VPC and go with a chip or DSMLink. Take the guess work out of it with a wideband too if you want to spend the cash.
