Are cross drilled rotors worth the extra investment? and if soo is $200 Can. each a reasonable price, I can get them for as low as $150 but I don't want to get something too cheap.... Factory rotors are $150 from Eagle...
Any input would be appreciated.

Opinion seems to be split, some swear by them, others report cracking. Search dsm.org and this ubb to find out more.

I would put that 100$/rotor extra towards a big brake upgrade instead. Personally, I would only go with a sloted rotor if you want something different.

Drilled rotors are cool for looks, but I can state from first hand experience that they will crack under hard use. Brembo makes a good rotor and even they cracked. Northern Motorsports in Hamilton has a good price on powerslot rotors.

So the general feedback that i have read about and gotten here... is taht Cross Drilled rotors however, good for stopping and cooling... they tend to crack and warp ....
However... i can get similar benefits using the slotted rotors, but they are more durable from cracking and warping......??????????

I use crossdrilled rotors and the two hour 400 & 401 drive each day pushes the brakes pretty hard. (those idiots who slam on the brake at 140 to watch a rolling pop can in the opposite lanes really piss me off) They've been on for 9 months now and I have to say that there's little brake fade, they work the same wet or dry, I've had no cracking problems and absolutely no pulsing. They are called powerstop I think and got them from a local brake shop for $125/each. Couldn't tell you long term durability yet but I am very happy with them.

Slotted rotors will not give the sam results as cross drilled rotors. As I understand it, the cross drilling is primarily for cooling while the slotting is to ensure that the face of the brake pad remains true and you minimize glazing. In either case, the stopping power is improved over the stock brakes (which are poor to say the least) but you suffer from an increased rate of pad wear.

Slotting and drilling is mostly to let the gases escape between the rotor and brake pad

If you look at F1, GT cars etc. you will see that virtually all of them use slotted rotors. Most of the cross drilled rotors on the market are drilled out after manufacture. The ones that come on Porche etc. are cast in during manufacture. The aftermarket ones were never designed for the holes and most of them will crack over time. The slotted ones are still done after the fact, but since the slot doesn't go all the way through it doesn't weaken the rotor as much. My choice would be for the slotted rotors.

I tried cross drilled rotors on the track once and putting over 200 HP of power into them cracked them in one weekend.

One friend with cross drilled on a Volvo has had his for 5 years but he is only putting about 130 HP into them.

I find it is better to buy pads that don't out-gas and that eliminates the need for holes. ie metalic pads for the street and full racing pads for the track.

Is venting the equivalent of slotted or cross drilled or is is something else altogether?
