It's been 13 months since my last alignment, 30K kms. Technically, I'm about due for another alignment. Tires show even wear, the car tracks straight, doesn't pull to either side. The suspension hasn't been touched, and I have no plans to change it in the near future. Should I have the wheels aligned anyway, or put that $50 towards something else?

Hey Marta!!!

This sounds like the commercial that ask if you should use a spoon or a fork to eat the "Chunky Soup"... I'd say buy something. I've got in sight a set of camber kit from these guys; http://www.sprintspring.com/

It will come to good use for some laping at Shannonville.

Go for the spoon...

Ghislain.

Hee hee. I've never had my car aligned. If I can live with it for 6 years, you should be ok with it for another year.

Oh, my tires are fine, BTW. Summers are getting worn out, as they are going on 6 years old as well.

You'll get that. I just had my car aligned and it made a world of difference. Of course, I had just pulled apart and rebuilt the entire suspension with newer stock stuff. (No comments, please. I'm unemployed. ): )

It's nice to do it every so often, but if you're experiencing no problems...
