I just placed a set of 18" rims on my 90 TSI
with 245/45 tires rear and 245/40 front which rub like crazy on the bottom of the strut on the front and on
the swing arm at the rear. I went to PI and picked up a set of 1/4" wheel spacers and they seem fine. I'm about to pick up a set of tires for the front 245/45 so they are even all around (cause of the AWD)Would anyone else have this configuration or can shead some light on the issue as to safty and/or possible damage.

Thanks in advance

P.S. Great site and members.

I have 18" Racing Harts on mine and I put 225 40 18 on it. No rubbing and it fits with no problems. see it at: http://importfan_eclipse.homestead.com/eclipse_89_91_B_WW_Custom.html
