Hi all,
I'm looking to get some new springs and shocks for my 95 Talon and was wondering if there was anything in particular that I should know before I proceed. I'm looking at getting a set of Koni Sport shocks and a set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

Is this a good choice? I'm looking to purchase the parts from Tirerack.com - does anyone know of a cheaper vendor (perhaps local?I'm in Edmonton)

Will these parts affect my ability to add some 17"/18" rims in the future?

Will I need an alignment kit?

Please advise.
Thanks! Peace.

Depending on how low you go you might need an after market cambetr correction kit. Alot of people say good things about KYB GR2's i think there probably cheaper than the ones your looking at.

Try http://www.shox.com They have some pretty good prices on Koni Sport / Eibach Pro-Kit packages.

I don't think GR-2s will enjoy lasting durability with the Prokits. More spring needs more shock, and the GR-2s are pretty much stock replacements (for 1Gs, anyway).

Thanks for the feedback guys. So far I've settled on the Eibachs for sure, but I'm still undecided on the shocks. I'm looking at tokico illluminas as well as the koni sports. (price vs quality)

I've also decided to look locally to avoid any shipping or customs complications so if you know of any good suppliers located in Edmonton, please share.

Thanks.
