I did a search on the effects of running sportlines on the stock struts but diden't come up with much.
My struts only have like 167ks on them so there newer then most 1990's so you think they'll last a while with the sportlines,,, i talked to a guy with a TSI FWD who said he did this and his car was fine...
I also read I'll need to adjust the camber do to the lack of a solid rear axle b/c im AWD..
thoughts are appreciated...

I run sportlines right now but with upgraded shocks. I used to run sportlines with stock shocks and Id get more bounce than with the current shocks. If you are going for looks only then put them on you'll have no problems you'll just get some more bounce in your ride. Just plan on upgrading your shocks in the future cause it helps alot.
I think for the everyday driver its fine to run just the springs just make sure to see if your shocks are fine/in working order when you take them off.

i run sportlines on my tsi fwd with stock shocks...but they were replaced...and the car handles awesome..little bit of a bumpy ride at time..but thats the price you pay for a 2 inch drops
