Anybody know the part number for 1G-b AWD single piston front caliper MetalMaster pads? The Altrom website only lists the following:

PBR Metalmaster 1993-UP, 4WD D845 M
PBR Metalmaster 4/89-UP, 2WD D781 M
PBR Metalmaster TO 3/89 D758 M

There is no entry for AWD before '93 and according to the vfaq '90-92 FWD calipers were different:

"Early '89's (before 4/1/89) had smaller front brakes which were upgraded during the model year run. All '90-92 FWD and 90 AWD share the same calipers. The calipers for the '93-94 turbo FWD models were upgraded to the larger, thicker single-piston caliper design of the 91-92 AWD cars."

ummm Mike, do you mean 1G-a? cause there were no 1G-b single piston AWD brakes. and it sounds like you're looking for AWD brakes for 91-92 single piston? Just trying to get things clear

You can find PN and prices at this link;
http://www.altrom.com/

They carry PBR/Axxis Metal Master.

You buy Altrom stuff at your local UAP/NAPA.

Easy as 1,2,3.

Yes, right, I meant 1G-a my bad. I need them for my '92.

Ghislain - the list above is straight from the Altrom website and like I said in my original post there is no refference to a 91-92 AWD.

So if anyone is running these pads on a 91-92 AWD with single piston calipers and still has the box with the part number, I'd apprecite if you could post it.

I got some PBR at Altrom (through NAPA) for my 1991 Laser NT a few years ago.

My bet is that the part number D781 DP will fit your Car. All 1G Front Single Caliper are the same been a NT or a Turbo.

Get one set and return it if it does not fit...

Ghislain.
