Hey Guys, what do you think of these shocks

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...1&item=7957835478&category=33590
or
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...1&item=7959663477&category=33590

Which one do you this it's better? What do you recommend rather than the above for lowered 2g with H&R springs 2" drop. Something affordable...say 300 - 400 dollars

Thanks
ASh

Those tokico blues are about the same as your stock KYB shocks...ie. KYB GR-2's. If you want the same as stock for replacements, they're good...

Last time I heard the KYB shocks were actually longer then the stock 2g shocks, so they aren't good for lowered cars at all. Tokico makes nice shocks for the 2g's. The blues that you have linked above will be abit firmer then stock. I run the tokico illuminas which are their 5 way adjustable shocks. They are amazing, would defently recommend them. They are really not that much more expensive then the blues, and give you a nice range of adjustability. Looks like your already checkin out ebay, & thats the best place to get them. Last summer I bought the tokico ilk suspension kit which is the illumina shocks & lowering springs for ~$450 US, think it ended up costing me 750 or so CDN complete. A dame good deal since the best price I found locally was $1000 or so plus taxes.

So if you don't want the adjustables my vote is for the Blues tu

Edit: Looks like that link you have is the same guy I bought mine off of jdmworks. Great seller, think shipping was 50 or so US.

Agreed about the adjustable shocks. DO NOT buy shocks that are non adjustable when you are lowering. I've driven in several talons 1G and 2G with adjustables, and they're so much better...well worth the money, and you'll be kicking yourself in a few months if you didn't chip in the extra $100 or so.

Nice choice.

Koni inserts are also amazing. Check the prices on both.
