Yeah, the Jumptronix is the exact same idea. It's $85US from Road Race. I think it also functions as a regular volt meter. The jumptronix guy used to have plans somewhere on making your own, but I didn't see them with a quick scan of his website. Keep in mind these things are just digital volt meters that display in the range of 0-1V. So you could even just buy a cheap digital multimeter, and I can hook it up when you're tuning (and get the same digital readout) and just use the blinky light one for "regular use" once you're tuned. This would be cheaper, and you'd have a multimeter for other uses (doing wiring, finding shorts, etc) The LED ones may be less accurate, but I find them easier to read *quickly*, so I like having it around. Plus chicks dig it. Jeff Mitchell

Thomas, you can get a digital voltmeter from crappy tire for $20.00. The voltmeter is more accrate than the led's. I have both, the a/f mater looks good and people like it in the car but that's just about all it's good for (unless you get one that reads like .7v-1.0v, but then it wouldn't dance at idle ). I use the voltmeter when tuning, it's more accurate. I ran the wires under my carpet and keep the voltmeter under the passanger seat and pull it out when tuning (just another good idea I stole from Mike J ) But some people don't even bother with the a/f, they only use egt's since it really tells you what's goin on. ------------------ 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 13.98 @ 100.24mph Chirped Neutral.....oh wait that was my timing belt breaking.
