Does anyone happen to know the Part number for the Yoke kit that is used in the TC Recall, Mine is starting to leak, and as usual the recall has been done, and they said it was fine.
Dealer has a new parts guy, and well he is pretty "green" to say the least.
For a 95 TC

Hey Tim,

I obviously don't know off hand, but once I get home from work today, if no one else has posted it I can try to find the part number in CAPS for you.

It's on vfaq somewhere. Take a few minutes and you'll find it. Thats what I did in the winter when mine needed to be done.

so take it to a different dealership and have them do it, or call chrysler canada/mitsu canada. It doesn't matter if it's been done or not, they have to do it again.

Shaun the general consensus is once they have done the T-belt recall there is no chance of getting it done again. I do not know of one person that has been able to get then to redo a Tcase recall twice in Canada.

I did a bunch of searches and came up dry for the part nuber for the Yoke Kit.

There was a thread on Tunes that had a million part numbers for seals and O-ring's.

The VFAQ info just gives yo info on how to do the fix with J-B weld, no to fix it properly.

There is a Yoke Kit that you buy, and the only other thing you need to buy is one seal.

The yoke is MR111611, I think the seal is MD701430.

I little tip before you install that new yoke, JB weld the brass plug up to prevent it from leaking ever again. That is where mine leaked from last time.

Jay,

Sounds like Satan's demons neglected to put oil in the t-case or they did but they left out the drain plug. lol When I did the recall on my t-case the schmuck didn't put in enough oil and the fill plug was very loose.
