In the lag problem thread Rob suggests drilling and tapping the compressor housing for a nipple.
One of my J pipes doesn't have a nipple on it and I need to do something with that. I am basically loooking for a way to tap into the system at around a that point.
The drill into the Compressor Sounds like a good idea.However with the turo in the car, has anyone done it? I am worried about hitting the turbo blade with the drill or leaving aluminum shavings in there.
Also is there any sort of clip on, screw on or... nipple I could use if I drill a hole in the J Pipe? It doesn;t have enough meat for tapping.
I am currently running the thing with aquarium hose off the manifold, but I am allowed to do that because my car sees full throttle once every every 365 days.
