well i was just looking over my car the other day 1.8l talon and notice there is room for another rad fan! cooler engine! it would run better at extreme temps.

well any way im going off to the autowrecker to see if i can find one.

it should be simple to do, i mean cut and add new wires and it will bolt right on

"just a thought for all of you" ill post again.

That extra spot was designed in for cars with a/c. Adding another fan might keep your engine bay cooler, but I would be carefull running two fans on a stock alternator. I know my car idles a little ruff when the single fan kick in. Good luck

the bad idle can be caused by the backwash of the fan going through the MAF if yu have a cut aircan.

If you decide you still want an extra fan, I took one off from where you want to add one for weight savings on my diet laser. Works perfect. $25

I didn't notice you were in BC...

I'll tell you what, look for one at a wreckers first, if you can't find one locally come to me.

Not really worth it for either one of us to get into the shipping hassle unless you really need it.

Hello Panther.

Cool for the intake mod you did for your ride. I can't wait to see the pic.

I'm also backing you on the alt upgrade. Mide kicked the bucket a year and a half ago. I replaced it for a 75 Amp but I should of got one for the AWD model. Guess they are 85 or 90 AMPs. 75 ain't enough.

BTW Panther. I'm trying to get transfer to Comox. It might happend in a year or two but I'll drop in and we'll have a beer or two over an open hood... One more question; Do you scuba dive???

Ghislain.

No you will not fry anything with a 90 AMPs ALT. The 90 is the maximum amount of juce that the ALT will push.

Hope this helps.

Ghislain.
