Hey guys. From what I've read about 95/96 Talons, there was only a Esi model, but I know when I bought mine, there was a 97 Talon for sale just a few dealers up from where I got mine.
This 97 had 98,000 kms on it and they wanted $17,995 for it.....LOL. The only option the car had was A/C. I read with my car that 4 wheel disc brakes were standard, yet this 97 had drums on the rear.
So my question is, in 95/96 was there only Esi and Tsi available, then in 1997/98 they came out with a model lower then the Esi?
I know there was RS and GS Eclipse.
Thanks guys. Brian

I'm not sure what year it was, but at some point they released a "base" model Talon that was a few rungs down from the ESi, with rear drum brakes, no spoiler, etc. Basically the equivalent of the Eclipse RS, but I think they RS is even more stripped down than the base Talon!

I got my 1998 Talon brochure out just to make sure and yup, Chrysler Canada had 3 models available in '98; base, ESi & TSi AWD.
And I do believe a TSi FWD model was offered in the U.S. in the same year.
