With all these engine swap and what not topics in this NT Forum, it makes me curious.

Who here has/is planning on swaping their NT engine for a Turbo 4g63 ?

And who here has/is planning on simply getting a Turbo kit for their NT ?

(..please provide some detail ...how much trouble/$$$
did it cost you ? what do you think about it ?)

As for me ...I had looked into a 4g63 for the 420A, but under advice from a shop about all the hassle and all, I opted for a Turbo kit(recently received a Star Performance Stage 1 kit with E-trim, ball bearing, and Greddy BOV. So far it's still the crowning centerpiece of my room ...and will be until I get enough dough to get Marco and his shop to stuff it in along with a Venom Intake Manifold).

Anyways ...I'm not sure how this it will turn out yet but for one thing it's been VERY COSTLY. The Taxes and other shipping costs alone were $300 (And Race Prep Engineering actually fitted the bill for some of the shipping costs

If it is a 2g(95+) you basically can't swao in a Turbo 4g63 instead of a 420A. Thee engine and drivetrain seat on the opposite side.

Sure you can swap a 4G63 into a 2G NT. You just have to get a little creative with a cutting torch/grinder and a welder. Make sure to wear your goggles!

The 420a has been kown to respond good to boost. I heard there is a 420a in the 10's. Some oen correct me if im wrong. I'm not saying that the 420a was stock internaly.
