....all 6 PSI of it anyway. Well my 95 ESI finally has that Turbo. I got it back from Metalex yesterday. The kit LOOKS great, something like out of the Fast and Furious. With the BOV sitting close to the turbo the sound is great. The kit was a Star Performance stage 1 turbo kit - T 3/4 Hybrid with ball bearing (optional) - Greddy BOV - + MOST of the necessary components To complement it, a bored throttle body was a attached to a Venom Intake Manifold (very nice). Star Performance and Metalex Recommendations Oh and thanks to Bart for the heads up. Taking it easy and staying away from WOT is a good idea until I get a boost gauge (probably the next addition).

No boost gauge?? Oh well, good job. Everyone seems to talk about turboing their 2gNTs, but you're one of the few to have done it. Post some pics when you get a chance!

Congrats congrats congrats!
Thats awesome Rafal, but if you don't mind me asking, how much did it all cost in the end? I have a 97 ESi, and have looked at the Hahn kit and the Star kit.
Im going to try and sell my car first, and hopefully buy a tsi, but if that doesn't go as planned, the money I make in the summer will go to a turbo kit.
Once again, congratulations. I'm jealous!

Thanks everyone I'm PROUD of being one of the first 2G T-NTers The kit was from the US. And cost an arm, a leg, and my first born (to be) but at the same time (summer of last year) I called the shops and they either didn't do custom turbos (or didn't anymore) or they were just too busy (booked for months). So I went with the already tried and true kit. Peter: I'd suggest you try selling your NT and then buying a TSI. You'll get probably pay less and get much more power out of it in the process. Since my NT was (and still is) in great looking and working condition (not to mention the fact it had power everything + moonroof which I wanted + the car (4 year old at time) was bought at a low price with LOW (46K) mileage). All this + the fact that buying a GOOD DSM for a good price was VERY HARD .. made me stick to my NT instead of trading it in for a TSI. Mike: So where are you getting your stage 2 from ? There are a few things I want to take care of before I go after stage 2 but I want to stay away from ordering parts from the US (major wallet drain) and see what can be done over here. I'm hoping I can get the FMIC and get a shop (probably Radim's) to do a custom job.

Hey no problem about the heads up, I was at the shop so I had to call and rub it in your face that I heard your car run before you...That BOV is insane cuz it's so close to the turbo, but seriously get the boost guage in man, and don't forget to get an intercooler...
It's not a Talon, it's a Talonol... And now it's in the garage with a connecting rod sticking out...

Josh: The kit was around $2,300 (USD) + Venom Intake Manifold (around) $600 (USD) + installation $1,450 (CAD) = a drained wallet, but sweet ride. And heres the pic. (for anyone who wasn't there to see it @yorkdale)

1st post for me in this area.. Gotta admit that's a nice install.(There's hope for Neon owners,,haha) Anyhoo, apart from the joking,, the WHOLE idea of customising is to take an ordinary car/truck/van and make it stand out from the crowd. Well done,Rafal.
