I've decided to go through an easier route. I've decided to bolt on a few items for a bit of boost.

This is what I think needs for a 1G turbo kit: (correct me if I'm wrong)

-O2 Housing
-Intercooler
-exhaust manifold
-turbo fwd oil pan
-450cc turbo injectors
-turbo of course

Wondering if this is all I need to give my NT a bit of boost. I'm not making an NT that can go low 13's in 1/4 mile. Just to make about 50 -70 more Hp.

I've done some research and I don't think you need all those other items. Maybe you do, but I've asked around and ppl have said that if I'm running low boost (5-7 psi), I don't really have to worry too much.

Plz letme know if there is anything critical that needs to be added.

The ecu would be a good idea.

You'll need a turbo FWD downpipe, plus all the oil feed/return and coolant feed/return lines for the turbo. You'll also need a turbo FPR and all the I/C plumbing. Pretty sure you'll need a turbo MAF as well.

I understand that I'll need the pipes but I don't think the MAF,ecu and turbo downpipe is necessary for only 7 psi of boost

I'll sound stupid right now, but I have no idea what the injector resistor pack is or does?

Injector Resistor Pack - (IRP) is just an elecronic device which lowers the voltage going to the injectors so they arent burnt out. High impedance injectors need 12V, low impedance need less. Turbo injectors at 450cc/min are low impedance.

A turbo ECU is needed for only 7 psi because of the higher compression pistons the n/t's have. Detonation, or knock, occurs more often under more boost on low compression pistons. Yet on high compression pistons, knock on low psi can occur frequently. The turbo ECU retards or advances the timing of the ignition to compensate for knock and tries to eliminate it.

If you don't understand that, here it is in short. Get a turbo ECU and knock sensor.
