The vfaq says to run a few new wires to the ecu, and it says to "solder the wire to the pin before inserting into the plug" where do i get these "pins" (im assuming thats the proper name for them) and what do i ask for? are they a Canadian tire part, or an electronics store item?

what I did was to get a old wire with plug from another car's wiring.

Not an ECU wire or anything but any plug that that goes into ECU or TCU or many other plugs.
that actual metal piece is the same.
I recovered that with a piece of wire at the end and attached that to my newly run wire.

I don't have them any more. else I would have mailed it to you.
If somebody is parting out any DSM or Galant they can spare you a piece of wire I am sure.

You can find that in any scrapyard with DSM, Galant-2000GTX, Colt, 200E
any mitsubishi car basically.

you would have bitch of a time finding it in any electronic store. But you can try www.e-sonic.com

But what THAT guy is saying is to SOLDER it right to the ecu. Kind of hard if you are not good at it.
