You can start with an AEM or K&N intake and cat-back exhaust.

Honestly before you start on the engine. Replace your struts if they haven't been. Mitsu come with the worst suspension and every Mitsu I have ever been in needed a set of struts get your suspension done and then you can start on making the car better speedwise. You need to put the power to the ground and you need to be able to stop the car get the brakes and suspension in line and it will make your power feel that much better.

what about the intake manifold. i thought that the 1g was bigger than the 2g. and i thought that the 1g throtle body was bigger too. well is there anything else i can do. i decided to get some lowering springs and will probly do my suspention then.

Wait a sec here. Have you got a 1G NT or a 2G NT? 'Cause any info/advice we give would be hugely different depending on which.

okay this might get confusing. i have a 2g non turbo. but i also have a 1g turbo. i have heard that the throttle body and intake manifold off a 1g will give me some extra power for my 2g non turbo. i bought a 1g turbo engine with a blown timing belt cause i cracked the valve cover on my 1g. so have the throttle body and intake manifold just lying there. but i dont want to just start pulling things apart. i hope you guys can understand me.

Josh.

You should of noticed by now that 1G Turbo and 2G NT have totally different Engines.

Simply put your 2G NT has a Neon Engine. Totally different, you will not be able to use any Parts of your 4G63 (1G Turbo) on the 2G 420A. Same if you were to get parts of a 1G NT.

Your best bet is to put some Headers, Catback and an Intake. You could probably get a Chip of some sort and maybe a Cam but that is pertty much it unless you want to pump lots O-Ca$h into it.

Keep the 2G NT stock and put the ca$h into the 1G. 4G63T is where the power is.

Belive me I use to be a 1G NT guy...

Ghislain.

There is nothing wrong with a Neon... I had a neon for awhile and I turboed it and actually scary it was the only car I had that didn't break on me LOL!
