Hey all,

Does anybody know where I can buy clear front side marker lights? Not the turn signal lights. It would look great without that amber insert. Any suggestions? Or even how I can remove that amber insert?

What about if you have the exposed headlights? Like a 92 Laser? Is there a way I can remove the amber insert?

I have a 92 laser also, it doesnt look like the orange peice will come off so easily...I looked on the net for a cheap budget way, but I couldnt find any. I think I might just splurge and spend the cash for the clear corners, even though that money would be better spent on non-rice boy mods

As far as I recall, the 92-94 corner lights are a solid unit with the orange piece inside. I doubt you could remove it without cutting it open and gluing it back together.

If you do some searching you will find a way to get the lights apart without "cutting them".
Essentially it involves putting the lights in either the oven at lower temps or in boiling water to soften the black sealer and then slowly prying the lens off. After that you just remove the orange plastic and reheat to put back togther. One of the guy's that lives in the same unit as me out here in BC has a 95 TSI that he took his headlights apart to remove the insert. the 1g lights are assembled the same way. I also removed the inserts from my 90-91 with the above method.

92-94 corner light DO NOT have an amber insert they are glued in and cant be removed. I have tried.

I bought mine from Adam clay for around 60 bucks.

Who or where is adam clay? he gets them for 60 bucks canadian?
