I don't want to upset the front speaker imaging, so I am just looking for an efficient midbass speaker to provide some midrange punch that is currently lacking. Any suggestions? I don't need 120+ db, just some fill. What kind of power can I get away with? Can I get away with powering the speakers with the head-unit amplifier - approx 10wrms/channel Older Kenwood KRC-901. Front speakers are kicker resolution 5.25" + silk dome in the dash running off Orion Cobalt 230. Ideas? 1991 AWD - SOLD - 1996 - 2008. 2001 JB E39 M5 - NA torque below 2000rpm is niiice.
