Just wire it into the dimmer switch. Take apart the dash where the dimmer is and find a wire that has the 12V lead. I assume you have daytime running lights so the light will be on constantly just like your lights.

Run wires down to the accessory fuse box (located under the driver's side dash to the left). You can tap the positive line in to the fuse for your dash lights - then you'll have dimmer control too! The negative line just goes to any ground there.

What fuse happens to be for your dash lights? It is a 95 TSI AWD, if it matters.

It should say on the fuse box cover what all the fuses are. I'm a 1G guy so

Also, I'm not positive if you will have dimmer control on thoes gauges doing it the way I described. You will definitly see the light though. I have mine wired that way but can't test it since my battery is out and I'm not ready to hook it up yet.

Remove the dimmer switch plug and tap into the Green wire. This is a 12V wire that controls the dimming of the lights. Anything tapped into this wire will dim along side the dash lights.

And yes........this is for a 2G AWD.
