I know theres a few ways that this has been done in the past, anyway at work today I was reading in one of the auto industry flyers, that Canbuilt Manufacturing ( www.canbuilt.com ) makes a product to restore the yellow headlights. 3 step process that aparently only takes "a few minutes for each light", first and second ones removes the yellow and crap the last one is a sealant and protectant. works on all transparent plastics including lexan and pexiglass. Comes in shop size and consumer sizes. nothing on price, I also checked there site and there is nothing about it there, as of now at least.

just so ya know.

I used 1000 then 2000 grit to wetsand, then some metal polish, and it literally looked good as new. No need to spend too much money on the "special" polishers.
