I noticed them the other day and had a quick look; looked like quite a few could be used on our cars. Mine popped out originally because the outside of the door (the skin) came unwelded from the inside. I got a body shop to reweld it and seal the panel back on. They proably used 3m or super glue. Don't know, don't care, because I went through a roll of tape and a half dozen of those clips. fwiw, a local dealership gave me those clips for free.
