You could but that require a bit more money and some fiberglass work too. I would rather leave it the way it is or do a 98 GSX rear end conversion.

I would just keep the trim pieces on the door. Or if you really want to take them out and want to get rid of it from the rear bumper also I would just get a 95-96 Talon rear bumper.
