Anyone else have this problem when installing their stereo?

Even if you remove the spare, there is a big hump right in the middle of teh trunk.

How did you guys get around this? Custom boxes?

I have 1/2 a box (missing the top piece) to hold 2 10s or 2 12s. You can have it for free. It fit fine and was made for the AWD car.

Hmmm... sounds interesting.

Got a pic of it?

I dont know how this is going to work out though?

Be pretty hard/expensive to ship it, and I can't pick it up. Barrie is at least an hour from my house and my car isnt even on the road yet.

how much do you want to spend?? I have a friend that is a cabnet maker and he can make a really good sub box pretty much however you want. All you would have to do is carpet it. He makes then out of MDF. He has all the equipment at his house and he lives in Grimsby but we can probably work something out to get it to you.

Let me know if you are interested in something like that. Just to give you an idea of price, you would have to pay for materials but you're probably looking at about $50 or so.....

Let me know man...

Whoa... 50 bucks sounds cheap for a custom box.

Well, Im going to go to my local shop first, once my car is on the road, and see what they can do for me.
I got 2 10 inch rockfords in there right now, but Ill see what he can do for a trade in type of thing.

One of my buddies had a 1G and he said he took out his spare and cut off that little hump and the middle to. I dont know if I wanna go that route, so we'll see what happens.

Im sure two boxes can be made up fairly easy for the two corners.
