Very nice and clean engine bay. The intake looks sweet with the polished valve cover.
Is that chromed, or polished aluminum?

I think that's what my engine bay aspires to be when it grows up. I suddenly feel weak in the knees and there's a warm, wet spot in my pants. WOW. That's nice.

Damn, that gonna be hard for the "competition of cleanest engine" this summer. I spent TONS of time on cleaning my engine, making various brackets, polishing parts and replacing almost every single hose in the engine bay. Can't wait to be finished. i'm gonna try getting some stuff powdercoated over the next couple weeks. The only thing i regret not doing, is not cleaning my tranny while it was out of the car. Its fithy and impossible to clean with everything in the way.

Paul, i love the attention to detail you take in putting your car together. Awesome work.

That hunk of steel is what makes the dsm shifting feel so special compared to lesser cable shifted cars lol. And to me thats more importamt then the little weight savings it may give.

Paul nice job. I wish I had the patients to be that neat.

Its called "cool tape" from DEI it prevents heat soak. It has fibreglass on one side and foil on the other. I have the coolant bottle wrapped and few other things. The MAS is also covered as it really helps to keep the heat out(i can log that on the dsmlink). Whenever the MAS heatsoaks the computer pulls timing even if the I/C is still cool..
