Hey guys, I want to re-paint the front clip of the Talon, the bumper has really faded faint, and the hood and fenders have lots of paint swirls. Odd though, because the rest of the car is fantastic.

I need a place that does excellent paint matching, because I want it to flow properly. I will be taking off the fenders, bumper and hood and getting him to spray it and re-install it.

(I'd re-install it myself, but I'd rather leave the gapping on the fenders and stuff to the pro's)

Check the Commercial Advertisements forum, there are a few members on here that have their own booths.

Well there's Steve's Autobody in Newmarket, I haven't personally gone there but I know a bunch that have and have seen the work, which is top notch.

Another good guy as far as pain goes is Larry at Kennedy Road Paint (Kennedy & Mt Albert Side Rd). I've had him do several "touch up's" that were just spot fixes & he was able to blend them in so you'd never know the car was painted. My old man also got a $5000 paint job there on his Camaro which was an amazing deal considering the amount of time he had into just block sanding it. As far as getting the body parts installed & gapped, thats not really his thing though.

Do it yourself. Go to paint circuit and buy everything you need. Great customer service and great products.

As he mentioned, Paint Circuit is a good supply shop, I've used them on a number of instances.

Ah, I didn't clue in that it Paint Circuit was the name of a shop. smile Thanks!

I'm also interested in any recommendations people have for good body shops in the GTA. I think basic prep work is something that most people can do themselves, but most will still need a good shop to do the spraying and finish work.

There was one in the west end that people really liked (that was replacing shock towers for some people) but they seem to have gone out of business.
