You would think that,
1:When I deleted your response the first time you would have gotten the hint.
2:If he had a 2G hood that he wanted to sell he would have posted it.

How about his "group buy", for every part his buddy's shop sells?

Taken right from the rules for the For Sale forum:
You DO NOT need to reply to messages with "Check your email, PM Sent!" or any similar messages... any person selling items, would of course be checking their email regularly.

And from the UBB rules:
13. No replies in the Parts Trader consisting of "Check your email", "Check your PMs", "Call me" or similar. The seller provides contact information, so use it.
