He wants a deposit for gas to show the car?? I guess you get what you pay for. The body dosen't look that bad and if the under body and rockers are good then 1500 bux dosen't sound too bad. I think every talon out there has had the sh!t drove out of it. I remember when I baught my talon I was working at a gas station and the guy that had it befor me would come in and get gas, when he pulled out he would just pound on it every time. I baught the car for 1500 and It was not even running. I ended up putting another 1500 into it to get it running and saftyed. It was the best car I'v ever owned a money pit but the best!
Cars are for sissys real men ride bicycles!

It's $1500. He might even take $1400 or less if you have the cash ready if and when you make an offer. It is pretty much a given that any 1G in its lifetime has had the crap drove out if it in its lifetime. Whether its captured on video or not it is a safe assupmtion it has been bagged at some point.

You have to give props to the owner of the car at least he was 100% honest of how the car was driven. Personally I would buy the car, but get the car checked to see if there is no big issues with the car.
How many times have you purchased a car that the owner told you the car was never beaten and he took really good care of the car.
Of course he was going to be honest about it. He has to be when people have watched that video. You have to look at it this way. With a sports car that old, you are going to have some repairs that will need to be done anyways. Whether they are big or small repairs, who knows. Who knows how long it will be until they need to be done. The best bet is when you do buy a car, get every little thing fixed and working on it. If there is a screw missing from the dash, replace it. Once you know you have the car working in perfect order, take care of it and do proper maintenance. You will be that much further ahead of the game if you do that. P.S. I still wouldn't buy that car.

I found that my Talon worked better when I drove it like a rental. My natural driving style is totally opposite, and careful... but things seem to break more for some reason.
What beats this add is a local 1GB NT Talon for sale. Pretty clean, except for a huge hole through the passenger front fender and other small rust spots. Lots of kms.
Price? Only $3200 firm... *Laugh*
