Not a race at all but got abit of play with a guy in his $130000 Porsche Carrera 911 4S this morning. I was on my way to work & stopped at a set of lights behind a minivan. The Porsche pulled into the other lane that ends & there was a truck parked not to far up so when the light goes green he homps on it & goes to get ahead. Minivan was putting along so I pass to catch up. Were cruising along at a normal speed & catch up the 2 vehicles that are doing like 15-20 under the speed limit. Roads are clear so he gets on it to pass, I wait abit & then follow. As we pass the cars he lays off abit & I guess sees I'm now right on his ass & having to lay off. He homps on it again, I follow & proceed to have not to much trouble realing him in & having to let off abit. We both let off & don't get out of third. I checked the specs, nothing to impressive, rated at 355 hp & weigh abit over 3200 lbs. All in all it was still fun to show some guy in his $130000 Porsche, its not that fast naughty

The Porsches were on the track at Mosport last Saturday. The older Porsches are absolutely beautiful!

I was watching them at Moss corner and there was a black one that lifted his front inside wheel about 4 inches off the track every lap.

Try to keep up to the turbo porsches, the 928 or the GT3.

Nice kill though.

Black ES--sold and parted
RS-T AWD--smashed and parted
TSI AWD--13.7s @ 102mph
next project...

The 911 turbos run 12.4 1/4 mile I think. Pretty sure the new GT3's do the same. Pretty quick for a production car. I like pulling up to those guys just to see them take off.
Probably pisses them off but who cares..I love it.

From what I've read looks like the new 911 turbo is more like 11.7's at 124 mph, which seems reasonable with the power it puts out. Don't think I could take out one of these, well atleast not on pump gas & on race gas, my turbo would defently have it in it, but I don't think my stock bottom end would lol I would imagine the GT3's are probably around the time you mentioned. That would probably be a good run for me.
