I picked one up a few days ago too. Might as well, I had been holding off of getting the next 'fill my wallet' card, but we all show up to Sunoco So 20 points/litre of 94, typical fill is 50L (1000 pts). 10,000 points (500L) gets you $10 (~10L, though not really) free gas. Still, as was pointed out - better than nothing.

10,900 and I refused to use the $10.00 free gas option. I just collect the points to the point I get a free tank.

About 14,000 here, I'll do the same and save them for when I either am short on cash, or can get a whole tank.

The way gas prices are going, a free tank in an emergency situation...ie..short of cash, would be the way to do it.

Remember that the higher gas prices go though, the more points you'll need to get a free tank.

It's too bad they're getting rid of the CAA program. I know Sunoco has paid for my membership the last two years.
Anything is better than nothing I suppose!
We don't have Sunco here in Alberta but I we do have CAA. I use their CAA Mastercard on everything and collect rewards that way. Last year, it cost me $1.21 to renew my membership. Just a thought if some of you guys like renewing CAA for free.

They shouldn't be any worse on gas than a car with 450s if you know how to tune closed loop.
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

I have 1000cc injectors and my cars gone mid-11's in the 1/4 mile. I'm trapping over 120MPH each run. Hmmmm does anyone want to take a guess at what a full weight 1G AWD would be making in horsepower? I can garantee it will be more then yours. And if you are so sure with yourself, I propose we strap our cars on the dyno one after the other. Next spring, you and I head to Magnus, bring some witnesses and I'll try not to embarass you. Three pulls, all turbo, no nitrous. Loser pays for the others bill. That's how sure I am.
I should admit my gas milage is pretty much on par with a stock TSi so I guess it HAS to be under 200 crank HP.

You call having a timeslip a secret, haha your a funny guy. You probably have a sh!t e/t to go with that don't you ? I bet you do, lol. I don't really care how much HP you have, but I'll ask you the same question I have asked others, how about some 16g beatings ? I think the only thing I go to the shop for is an alignment too, and so does everyone else you mouth off to. We all build our own sh!t as well, but you come off like some weirdo about it, like your the only one who has built a DSM. $35,000 in parts!! LOL I think I have way less than that in parts, obviously no cost in labour cuz I build my own sh!t, and I think my car would hand you your ass on a plater. Now thats the TRUTH!

Hehe, your right 16g is a puny turbo. As I said, how bout some 16g beatings ?? I'm not dumb, but I am crazy! You can eat a big fat one. I'll be smokin a big fat one. 16g will hand it to you anyday, period. You probably run 13's with your 124MPH traps, thats why your embarrased to tell your E.T., right? Don't go blow your headgasket now.

124MPH with your FWD? Good for you. Back in my FWD days (which I ditched because FWD is absolutely brutal), I was trapping 114-117MPH on a 16G. You are telling me that I need to spend another $32,000 to get it to go another 7MPH faster in the 1/4 mile? Ha.
Listen, put your money where your mouth is. Go beat Reza, win his money and then strap your car to the dyno with me for free. Hell, you are FWD and I'm AWD, you have a massive advantage WHP wise.
So big bad turbo guy, accept one of these challenges and see how well your 124MPH car actually runs against the little pea shooter turbo that Reza runs or my massively under funded car. I'll admit it, I have less then $5000 in mods done, so what do you have to be scared of?

FWD!!!! Are you serious! No wonder the guy is all talk, probably doesn't even run low 13's, hehe. Incredible, a FWD guy trapping 124MPH, talking all that, lol.

Ben, I know nothing about you but by the way your coming off in this thread you sound like one of my family members boses. He has a new Mustang Shelby Cobra & apparently he can run 10's with it (though he has never been to the track with it & professional car test drivers only run high 12's in it) What's with all the big secrets about you "magical" setup? Why are you so afraid to list what your mods are? Most people are more then happy to share their mods when producing that kind of power. Do you have a dyno sheet or a log of the pulls? Whats the big secret about your ET & what kind of setup do you run at the track? You spent $35000 just on parts? I would be interested in seeing a list of all the parts your running or is that a big secret as well? I'm not hating on any of the 1g's at all (as I too have put way to much money into my 2g that I won't get back) but I'm curious why you would put $35000 worth of parts into a car that probably has a book value of $3000 if your luckey? Edit: One other thing Ben that I hope you can clear up for me. You say you've owned a 500+ hp Talon for the past 7.5 years? Was curious why you posted about replacing the 14b you were running with a 16g, just last month & had questions about installing a Walbro 255 & the month before you were looking for a used 3" catback

I would bet a grand EACH on Tim G AND on Reza with his little 16g to beat him, if I thought the guy had anything more than two nickels to rub together....but I don't think he even has two brain cells to rub together....
Oh wait, maybe I am just jealous because I sold my talon.....I really want to be like some 18 year old retard that has spent 35 grand on 27 clutches in last couple years...

You're a failure. We should have a poll to see how many members want to punch your face. Seriously though Ben, if you want to stop everyone "hatin" on you, stop posting like your an 18 year old kid. Your cars fast, great so post up a mod list, some pics, some logs, some dyno pulls, some track video's that you say you have, etc, etc. Telling everyone your cars stupied fast & there's is a POS will get you no were, no respect & probably banned from here. Again, am curious what kind of setup (as far as boost, tires, suspension, etc) you run at the track & what kind of times you pull?

FYI... Im 26 yrs old... I work at TMMC.
ANd i am going to college to become a Electircal Engineer....so whos the frack stupid one old man.
Like honestly, you are old and dying, and im maken 3 times what you do so shut your mouth before your dentures fall out!!!!!!!! 26? 16 would correlate with your ability to spell. Please stop with the Engineer BS also, your becoming a technician or technologist at College. Stop pawning it off like your getting your BEng. Just because your daddy's little BenBen and he has a job you will never be able to have that allows him to pay for all your parts doesn't make you special. Why not just post up some time slips and dyno sheets to shut everyone up if your so confident. Those wont reveal any of your secrets like someone already said. You've got like 3 Grand in bets on you, why not take the car out and make some quick money if your so confident. I'm sure you'll have an excuse for everything. I love messages boards :), please don't ban Ben so I can keep amused at work! I don't ever reply to these things but this is just to funny, if it's real it halarious, if its a joke, your still retarded for putting that much time into this. I can't wait to see your siiiiccccckkkkk car at Conestoga in December when I start school again. Oh and do you realize your real name is attached to everything you say? Your not anonymous on this board.

Ben you have already been told by Andrew, SHUT UP. Spell correctly, quit using webspeak and knock off the bench racing BS. I don't think there is one person on the board that is jealous of you. You want to prove your fast, either take it to a dyno, or come out to the track with us.
In the spring I would be happy to go to the track with you. Would either be a close race, or the truth would come out. As for getting "props" for your car, this isn't Cardomain, and well nobody has seen it either that I know of.

Which shops do I need to ask at about your car Marken, Will at Point Zero, Rudy Held, Can Am ? Hell fire me off a PM and I will come over and see it for my very own eyes, if your DSM's are all put away we will check out your GF's turbo civic...
In case Andy's pushed the button I will email the invite as well

Wow, so you work at Toyota building cars for 50k a year...you're a millionaire. And college doesn't have an electrical engineering program, like someone below says, it's a technologist job, and guess what, you won't be making any more (if) you graduate from college in that program, you'll make the same as at Toyota. Ben, if you only make 3 times what I do, I feel sorry for you...you wouldn't be able to afford 27 clutches on 3 times what I make, LOL. Thing is, I HAD my good years, and instead of spending my life savings on 27 clutches, I put some away for retirment, so I can afford to live on less than 1/3 of what you make..and I can still go to Germany two years in a row and have a CNC machining centre, an EDM, a surface grinder, sandblaster, air compressor, and a couple milling machines in my garage I am old and dying, yes....but guess what....we are all going in the same direction...and if you are really 26 instead of your mental age of 16, then you just got 10 years closer to death also Meet you there

Well, considering he can still go to the board and read what we're saying...
The track is where WE brag Ben. I can't wait to see your "SIICKKKK" Talon in the spring. I'll be at Cayuga and St. Thomas next year, and I won't race you, but I'll be there to point and laugh as you get smoked by 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 other guys.
Then I'll be there to back the guys up when your mouth has run too far.
6' 2" 200lbs? Cool. You're bigger than me. But that can't stop 6-10 guys can it? Unless you're freeking Jet Li, or your Talon is a Transformer and shoots fireballs and flying clutches at us (Wait, maybe THAT'S where those 27 clutches have gone....)
So... I'm going to get me a Sonoco Card. I THINK that's what this thread was about.

Ben, no ones jeleous of you. No one even believes you have anything remotely fast. You come up with ficticious dyno numbers, bogus track times and non-existant mods list.
You are a tool and come spring, I'd gladly hand you your ass at the track and on the dyno.
You don't think I give "props" to those who deserve it? Reza, Kevin, Eric, Todd & many others on this board will tell you that I'm actually excited to see some real times and real dyno numbers but then again, you have to have a real car to have such values.
Meh, way to step up to the plate, big guy.

I just love how he expects us to bow down to him as if he's the DSM King. I mean, if all you can think about is sending the board threatening and outrageous emails, and have the time to do it, you have WAY too much free time.
Ugh, the spring can't come fast enough. I want to come down and see this guy, then hopefully smoke his FWD ass with my 16G.

Well, I suppose there's some boards where people COMPLAIN there's not enough 'trash-talking' and 'counter-top racing'. For some, it's the only way they can feel good about themselves, I guess. I actually had a good time reading Reza's replies. Hilarious! "Bring it, bitch!" *Laugh* Another 'feel good' thing I saw at Sears in the US was a new stainless steel 'tower' tool chest. With integrated digital clock, thermometer, etc... Stereo with sub and, get this, chrome 'rolla' 8-spoke wheels! "For the man that's not allowed to actually DO anything to his car..."
