I have been asked by a couple of people to get these in. In order to make it worth my while, I would need to order AT LEAST 10 of them. If I can pre-sell at least 7, I will proceed. Here is a link to the site:

http://www.zakleecorp.com/index.htm

He charges $69. + $9.USD for shipping within the US. To Canada, of course, would be more...plus the customs/brokerage fees.

I would propose to sell them for $75.Canadian, plus taxes, of course.

If there is enough interest, I will proceed and get these in.....

Let me know please,
thanks,
Ziggy

Ziggy, Im in if this gets going. Was going to order one direct but this makes things much easier!

On a sidenote, these are made from polycarbonate (believe thats it) & they are not supposed to yellow or crack. This should only happen when exposed to a large amount of sunlight (were talking years), which shouldn't be an issue unless you drive with your hood off all the time. There is also supposed to be a lifetime warranty against both these issues & I have seen a few close up pics & installed shots & the quality of these is top notch.

Here, this may help, the pic on his website is pretty crappy. There are much better ones here, with some nice installed shots:

Are we going to do a group buy on these? Maybe a little donation to the board?

I hadn't really thought about it, but seems like a good idea.....

ESPECIALLY if you look at the hall of honour for 2007..the year is almost over, and the list is damn short.....hint, hint!!

I know I am not getting a great discount on these, but let me see what can be done.....how would everyone feel about making a $3. contribution to the board for each one purchased, and I will contribute another $2. to make it $5.??

Let me know thoughts, please....

Hey, I made a donation over and above the 2 group buys I was in on this year. My name's not up there *hint* *hint*

I'm good to go with the donation. I'll do $3

I can take paypal, but paypal and credit cards all charge me 3.5%, and I have to pass that cost on to you. Best way to pay is by email transfer. I am HOPING to have these in time for the Yorkdale meet, so that could save people shipping and paypal fees. The order has been placed for 10 units...

I only ordered 10 for now. The will HOPEFULLY be in for next weekend. When they come, I will go down the list in order, and it will be basically "first come, first served". Then we can also all see what they look like, and if the interest is still there (and it sounds like it will be) I will order 10 more. I asked about ordering 20 right away, but it was no savings, so I stuck with 10 for now..

Adam, I can't even quote shipping yet, as I don't know how big these are, LOL. I am guessing they will be light, and probably not THAT big, but probably better I figure that out first, and the first 10 MIGHT be gone before I get to you on the list.

I am pretty sure I will be ordering a second set of 10....so not to worry...

I'm number 6 on the list Ziggy. So I'll just wait to hear from you. Either way when I know the total I will pay right away so I do not forget about it.

All my customers are #1 smile

I am still HOPING to get these for next weekend. I just heard from someone who already has one, and he tells me it is a NICE piece. I trust this person, so I have ordered the second 10 without seeing the first ones. The only odd thing, he paypal'd me the invoice for 20, as if he never got my money for the first 10....so I hope there is no problem and that things aren't held up. I know he is in Colorado, so it will take a few days to ship. I HOPE he is shipping TODAY.

I will let everyone know when they are in, with luck I will have 20 next weekend, and we can arrange shipping and payments then....

I'm in too Ziggy. I just sent you an email for another bunch of parts(head gasket stuff) before I realized you were doing this buy for the covers.

Add one to the total if you would.

A teaser/ad pic for Ziggy, fr those who haven't seen what these look like yet. And what are they good for, well you can see in the one pic I discovered that one of the cap screws had snapped off, Now I can check without pulling the cover.

Sorry, guys...been a rough week.
They should be at my US mailbox NOW, I just haven't made it over there to pick them up. I am heading there in a half hour. I have to run some stuff into Hamilton later today, but could start shipping these out tomorrow...

Ziggy, how do you want us to do this? Should we contact you or will you contact us (the ones on the list) once you've picked these up?

That's good news Ziggy!, I guess we can pick them up at the DSM Garage Sale this weekend.

They are here now. I have been quite busy, so probably best to contact me. I got the second batch right away, so have enough to go around! (20). Let me know if you want shipped and how you want to pay (best way is email transfer), and I can give you your total.

Sorry I have been a little slow lately, but as you guys probably know, I can't make enough at this to make a living...I have to keep it a sideline...and I have a couple of industrial jobs on the go at the moment that are taking up a fair bit of my time, but they are also paying the bills and keeping me in business smile

Anyways, get in touch, and I will respond as quick as I can....

Thanks again,
Ziggy
