It was suggested I start a new thread about the Yorkdale meet. As most of you know, there has been a lot of talk about changing the date from FIRST Sunday of the month to LAST Sunday. That works for me, so I will be at Yorkdale THIS Sunday, November 25th. I will have parts with me for Sergio Barros, and for Aaron Gamgee, and if anyone else wants me to bring anything, please get hold of me asap.

I think I'm going to try and make this. I've always had problems with the 1st Sunday of the month, so this is ideal.

Every month, last Sunday of the month, at noon. This month it will be on the 25th.

I won't be able to bring my talon, but I'm considering coming down. Ziggy do you have any of those clear timing belt covers left?

Hopefully this snow that is coming doesn't stay on the ground too long, as I still have my summer tires on.

And have also been asked for DSM license frames. I will bring some of those also. If anyone still doesn't have them, they are a fund raiser for this board. They are $20. for the pair, and that goes 100% to Andrew for the maintenance of this board, I have recovered my cost on these long ago, and now don't keep a cent of the money from the license frames.

I try to be there for noon..but am sometimes just a little bit late...depends on traffic, if I get out of here on time, and if I have to make any stops along the way....

Was a VERY pleasant meet today. Got to see some nice cars, including Helder's and Reza's beasts, and Sergio's new "work in progress". Saw a few DSMers I hadn't seen in a long time, and that brought back some pleasant memories. I have to admit, it had been a while since I felt a Yorkdale meet was actually worth attending, but came away happy today .

I hated the fact I couldn't make it with my car. Spyder was stored away for winter. I came to a couple meets in the summer but as we all know nobody really showed up and I just picked up my parts and went home.

I really hope this continues to grow into next Spring and Summer; I can't wait to see some nice Spyders and clean dsm's overall. All the Spyder's or 2G'S I have seen are either N/T or the owner is just a plain ricer with a blitz body kit and a non-recirculated BOV.

I circled the parking lot 3 times and I couldnt find you guys..

What time was the meet til? I got there around 2.

Parking lot was completely packed with shoppers.

Alright, so lets clear something up. Was there or will there be a May DSM Yorkdale meet ?

Cause I thought I missed it on the 4th of May. Or did I ?

Raf, I pushed to have the Yorkdale meets changed to LAST Sunday of the month. I found hardly anyone was turning out. All winter, everyone said "wait until summer", and then in summer, first Sunday was always a long weekend, and everyone was away. Since we switched, I think turnouts have been better. Next meet will be May 25th. Last one was April 27th.

I will probably be out to the June to pick up parts from Ziggy. =] Unless I need to get them some other time. I will be in a colt if I go though.

Okay, for those who wants to join the west end caravan (Brampton/Miss/Hamilton) Me and a few guys on the board are all gonna meet up at the Esso Gas Station by Highway 10/Britania Road at 12 noon.

Sounds like fun. I am building a deck that weekend but by that time on the Sunday I will either be done or in need of a good "cruise break"
