Dont want to sound like a pest, but how do you know it is a real archer brothers car?. I thought they raced second generations in 94'. Anthony Buso's car was built by them in 93' and its a pre-production 2g. I have been looking for a long time for a genuine archer car. let me know? thanks.

If 2Gs didn't come out until '95 how could they be racing them in '93? confused

Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

Theoretically possible, since there are testing/proving models running around 2-3 years before first production ones come off the line.
This is todays timing, back then you can add at least 1 year.

I doubt it thou that Archer would get one of these from Mitsu.
These are cars build from prototype parts/tooling, which is big $$$ for OEM, let alone for Archer back then.

Sorry to go of the purpose of the thread(mods delete if think necessary). Wish I had the money for this thing(x mas present for myself) This is FWD only??

actually my friend anthony buso owns a 2g archer car built in 93'. It was raced by neil hanneman from 94' to 96'. If i my ask, why are you posting here if your not interested in buying the car?

"If i my ask, why are you posting here if your not interested in buying the car? "

1) Did I say I wasn't interested in buying the car? Don't believe I did.

2) You were suggesting that this couldn't be a car prepped by Archer Brother's because they were racing 2G's in '93. I was suggesting otherwise. It IS related to the car/purchase of the car.

I just realised I didn't post the latest in the thread. The price was reduced to $2500 and now it's at best offers! Somebody should jump on this.

Also, I found some more info:

# Upgraded Turbo
# HKS aluminum intake pipes
# HKS bigger elbows
# Dampers: Koni adjustable
# Front Suspension: coil over, billet aluminum camber plates, modified
control arms, solid bushings, anti-sway bar
# Rear Suspension: coil over, solid bushings, adjustable anti sway bar
# Steering: rack and pinion
# Brakes: Stealth brakes, with Dash 3 lines

Yes, I noticed the price drop in the casc forum(link). What lost my interest was the 2" exhaust. Is the exhaust that size to stay in a certain class for racing? or is it a typo?I know it's not your car for sale but thought you might know.

Not sure about the exhaust sizing but I wouldn't think that would be critical purchase factor. It's a race car, likely little restriction in the exhaust system, and larger exhaust weighs more! smile
Doesn't take much to change it if need be.
