Do the 2g hoods come with a riveted loop for the hood latch?

The hoods do come with the latches so they lock in the same way your stock hood would it is still recommended that you install hood pins. I am not totally sure but I would assume they are riveted.

The Latch is not riveted to the hood it is molded in from the back side of the skin

so, seeing that theres only 5 of us so far, is this still happening?

Well...it's looking like a no thus far. I don't think the amount of committed people we have will allow us to receive the prices on goods in my first original post. I will however email Culver at GTfabs and see what kind of prices we can get with 5 interested people. I don't think the discount will be very significant but it may be worth a try.
