Nah, I have that under control. I'm going to do a mapquest thing and send everyone a nice detailed email.
It would be recommended for everyone to get those little walkie talkies though!! Everyone will be able to stay in contact.

We're going to cruise like bikers do. Everyone is responsible for the person behind them. This way, nobody gets left behind. If the guy behind you pulls over, you will to, and the person in front will notice that because he's responsible for you.

It's like a laxitive, it just works. wink

No, you would pull over too.

If you can remember Adam we had this problem during the SO caravan, so cruising this way makes it easier.

Plus it will be a Caravan of DSMs. So this should be a pretty common thing that day. By the end of the cruise we will be pros.

Ryan, I finally got around to emailing you. I figured I wouldn't need to as you already have my email but I did it anyways just in case.

On the note of breaking down. Ryan we going to trade cell numbers incase a break down causes a flux in the timeline? or other issues causing delays. I would say I am probably going to be meeting up at walmart. I'll be there 20 minutes or so before the caravan should get there *Theres a timmies right next to it my fiance and I will get some coffee and chill in the parking lot* I can update people as they arrive there.

We should take bets on how many cars break down or need emergency repairs or tweaks.

We should do a pot and whoever gets closest wins it.

Kinda like the Movie "Rat Race" where all the rich guys bet on the most ridiculous stuff.... Like Ryan hitting 11's!!!!

Raf, I'll go double or nothing with you and you alone.

And when I break 11's on May 10th, WHOOHOOO I'm going to bask in my glory.

Speaking of... are you even COMING to the cruise??? tongue

All bets are off if you don't show up! You have to BE THERE to see me break 11's... otherwise those from Regina would be placing bets. wink

As for cell numbers and all that... I will include that in the email. Basically I will ask 1 person guaranteed to be there at each meeting point for a number, and you'll call that person if you are going to be late.

Most of you have ways of contacting eachother anyway. Once you reach within 1k of the meeting point... give a shout out on the radio!

Just an FYI..might be handy for traveling in a caravan if you don't have radios...in my bike club, when we travel in a group, everyone is responsible for watching over the person BEHIND them, not in front of them. If the guy behind you breaks down, if you are just watching the person in front of you, the rest of the group will keep going. This way, when you notice the person behind you missing, you pull over, wait, then retrace your route until you find them. If EVERYONE follows the rule, it will only be a few minutes until the entire group is back where the breakdown occured..

By letting me help you eat one. grin

a grandpa combo = 2 NGK spark plugs. and I know for a fact that the plugs last longer.

Hey you all, I wouldn't worry about having to eat much, just how much you are going to owe me!!!!

Just out of curiosity, anyone gonna actually be HAPPY if I break 11's? Or is the general consensus gonna be "Awww crap."

Consider their negative banter motivation, as I'm sure it's meant to be taken! wink

I'm certain everyone is going to be happy when you shave another second off that timeslip! Best of luck, and if you DO break the 11's I'll buy you a meal at A&W or whatever greasy burger joint you like if we ever meet up. Don't worry though, I won't make you buy me one if you don't bust into the 11's.

I don't think anyone's considered that possibility, except you of course... lol

You're gonna have to break a 12 first, aren't you? wink
Maybe that's why you're getting so much flack... Run a 13.5, slap on some parts and now you're talking 11s, get real rotflmao

Ok, so update.

I have about 10 email addresses to send the printable route and information to.

I need the following to make this work:

1: EVERYONE to email me.
2: Someone with a cell phone at the following locations:
Mississauga (Square One)
Oshawa (Thickson Rd)
Adam's Place
Trenton Walmart
This will help when we are on the way there, if we are going to be late due to traffic, if someone's going to be late, etc.

If you are fine with providing me with your cell number so I can share with the rest of the group going (In the email, not on here) please email it to me.

I am going to be slightly changing the route once we hit the county, it's a better drive.

Giz and Eric Kellar, please contact me ASAP. I would like you assistance with the route in the County.

Keep sending me those emails guys!! Less than 8 weeks away and it will come up fast!

Hello all.

I just came back from cruising the county. Pretty nice, anyway. I'll be drafting a map that I'll send to Ryan. Other details will soon come.

Should be fun.

Ghislain.

Yes, but I'm not putting many mods to it Rob. wink

The only performance mods that are going on are:

Cams
ARP's
Upgrade from 190 to 255 fuel pump
Meth
Bigger FMIC

That's IT!

Then CRANK the boost. wink

Seriously Ryan, good luck man, lol. Going from 13.5 to 11's is quite a big jump.

What are the ARP's gonna do ? Did you already blow the headgasket ?
