I might be able to make this trip, I'll watch for you guys in Belleville and follow from there, it would be nice to see everyones cars not to sure about some of you though!jk.
I won't be taking the same way as Ryan or I would tag along, I'll be heading east on hwy 17, to Petawawa, then through the Ottwawa Vally(nice ride) to Barrys Bay, Bancroft, Belleville... anyone that wants to tag along, I'll be running the white 1GB Eclipse, and I doubt the other two DSM's in Mattawa will be ready to come.
We'll see.

Hey Malcolm, see if you can't hook up with the Ottawa guys for the rip down. Kingston as well. It's kind of nice to see everyone show up in a group.

It's to far out of my way to hit Ottawa(I'd like too), I have some old friends to visit in the Peterborough county area on the 9th(I grew up there).
So if it is the 10th of May I could easily meet up with you Jay , that would be good and we'd go from there. This would include the out of the way cruise to S-ville I hope because I've never been around this area and would love to see a bit more of the province,, hint, hint, Jay I don't know my way around but I'm sure I could find you!
I'm gonna check the map you guys posted earlier again.

You're coming down 17 right? Are you going down 41 through Renfrew?

Yes, I hope you guys bring your camcorders. I would also like a shot at making the video, so when you download it to your computer, perhaps you can send me a CD with the video and I can play with it. After all, it's what I went to school for. I've got a digi camcorder, an HD one, so I'll bring that out, get some good drive by shots, maybe some tokyo drifto

I gotta find a truck so I can get to Trenton and pick it up, then drive to Helder's and drop it off.

Guessing it's Scott Neville's motor? Hmmm, you could easily fit a longblock in the back of a car as long as the car has a hatch. Truck would be best, but it all depends on how desperate you are.

IT's a 2003 Silverado with a 5.3L V8, I'm sure it wont be cheap on gas to get there and back, but it's going down!! and yes, it's his block, woo, thanks to him!

Hmm I don't quite think I will have my car done. Got stuck tonight helping out my brother in law with his cavalier. Still need to drop engine in and then I would be looking for a safety and e-test. I was going to get a sight unseen safety but my source is no longer interested in doing this.
It'll probably be done the following weekend lol, so who wants to bring me a long in there ride? I have a camera and am good at taking pictures.

Well, got a lot of progress done last night. I have a little bit of wiring to do inside, drop the battery in and fire it up. Should have it good to go by tonight.

Saturday's looking like rain boys.
NOO!!!
Should we schedule a rain date just in case? Or do we do the cruise anyway and hope Shannonville doesn't shut down?

Belleville is still calling for partly cloudy, the county is calling for rain and their weather is usually little different, so I could se it being dry in Belleville and raining for the cruise, as for a rain date, probably a good idea.

Yeah, that's true Tim. Yesterday it was showing sunny with no chance of rain.
We could set a rain date of the weekend of the Yorkdale meet. Everyone meet at Yorkdale and we could just go for a cruise somewhere, maybe do the full out DSM Invasion later in the summer if it rains.
I know most will have plans for May long weekend, so I don't want to schedule it then, as I already have plans.

Reschedule! So I can join with my car! I'm like one week off, I'm back to work at the air base and we've been super busy, I've been working on the car solidly but I am just not as fast at putting this stuff together as some.

Mines looking doubtful as well. No time and last weeks weather was shitty, too shitty to work on.
I'm a pipe, some interior wiring and a battery away from firing it up. She's on all fours now and rolling but the interior is in pieces. Oil's in, coolant is in, but no power and all my gauges aren't wired up.
