Hey guys,

I am mating a 1G 7 bolt '94 block to a 2G ('95) head and transmission.

I am wondering on the differences between the water pipe/neck/lines between these two blocks. Specifically, I'm wondering where in the block the coolant banjo fitting hooks up to, as my '95 block has a hole for this fitting right under the freeze plug on the block under the upper rad hose.

Also, does anyone know if I need a '94 tensioner bearing bracket (the small cast arm that the pin from the tensioner pushes against)?

If anyone knows of any other differences I need to deal with, please fill me in! I've read the Magnus "1G in a 2G" document, but this info is for a 6 bolt block on a 2G head, so not exactly what I needed.

So far I know I need:
'94 hydraulic tensioner
1G 7 bolt oil pan
1G lower rad hose
coolant pipes and lines
modify my 2G engine mount to fit around the 1G water pump

Any input is appreciated, other than "why build a 7 bolt?" ha-ha

Mike
