With the Force Performance (FP) Race Manifold group buy taking place on dsmtuners, it had me thinking that a group buy for JM Fabrication’s “DSM SS Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield for FP Cast Manifold" would be in order JMF Link

I’ve been in contact with Jim at JMF and he’s all up for a ca.dsm group buy. Some may recall the price of this unit was $85USD but Jim explained that with the increasing cost of his raw material, he was forced to increase the retail cost to $95USD – you’ll see the new price of $95USD reflected on his webpage.

The way we save money on this group buy is by consolidating shipping (one location – I’ll take responsibility for that) and by volumes. I can tell you though that the GB cost of the unit will be less than $95USD each, how much less will be based on volumes. Once I get firm qtys, I can post an actual shipped / landed cost.

Right now I’m just collecting names of people who would be interested and if there’s enough interest, I’ll proceed with this GB.

The two options will still be available: polished or non-polished – just specify beside your name.

If intrested, please reply to this thread with your name and finish required. I'm going to introduce a deadline of Feb 19th 2008 so this does not go on for months and I can get back to JMF and advise if this will be a GO?

I’m going to say that there was no interest in this group buy thus I will not be pursuing it.
Daren, you and I will work something out with JMF (or jump on the dsmtuners GB if it ever happens??)

There seems to be a group buy in the works on dsmtuners.. so if this one doesnt happen, no big worries.

Murtaza, that's sort of the reason why I also pulled the plug. Initially Jim from JMF told me he didn’t have the time to manage a GB on dsmtuners, but it looks like he’s changed his mind? He confirmed that something should be posted on dsmtuners by the end of this week.
