I have a fun, but rust-ridden 1997 TSI AWD. It's been a great winter car, and I love it.
But, truthfully, it's worth little because of the rust. So I'll be parting it out, including the engine which runs well. Probably looking at parting out, end of March.

The interior is gray. Unfortunately, there IS a fair amount of wear on the Driver-side leather powered seat. Little on the passenger seat. Back seats are (as all Talons?) immaculate.
All purchases will be prior confirmed with photos, so that you know what you're getting, and what shape it's in.

Quick note: I am getting everyones messages, and their posts here. I'll try to respond as quickly as I can. Please have patience though, as currently the car will be parted out in more than 20 days, but my kitchen looks like this: (You'll notice the distinct lack of any kitchen). I'll try to sort everything out this, or next week.

Enough that I'm parting out the car? I can take pictures of the rust spots sometime.
Though I love it as a winter car. Put 225 R17 Nokian RSIs on it, and have been having a blast.

just wondering because a buddy of mine has the infamous 2g shock tower rust and could possibly take a shell, a bit of rust he should be able to deal with.
If you get some free time post up some pictures of the rust and will go from there.

It is still going ahead, starting late this week. And the hatch has significant rust on the lower edge, Ziggy. Honestly, not really what they should be buying.
