Wanted to go out for a drive today, but i need and want some good gas for the talon.

I cant find any 94 octane around here, and i used up the last of my reserves.

Serious though, i need some high octane gas because the talon will run like pooh once i put in the 91 from shell around the corner.

Go to the local paint store and try to get some Touelene, or you should have just hooked up the meth.

Petro Can has 94 in some locations.

Those octane boosters don't actually do much, when you look at how they work. Adding Ethanol or Benzene/Toluene yourself does better, but you need to know what you're about.

We can only get 91 here, but I guess in some areas of the southern States they can't even get THAT. 89 is the highest...

I get 100 here, even 102 at some places.

I've seen 94 octane @ Petro Canada pumps in Quebec, but not in Ontrio-here its Sunoco for 94.

I'm sure octane boosters are not what Jamal is looking for.

European, UK, etc have different ratings than north america. 100 octane in australia is equivalent to 95 octane in north america.

The reason is we use RON + MON / 2 to come up with our ratings, and you use just the RON by itself.

Actually the NOS brand, offroad blend octane booster works quite well. It adds up to 60 octane point or 6 octane. Adding a full bottle to half a tank easily allows me to up the boost from 22 to 26psi with zero knock.

Tony, Grant, im actually still searching for that high octane gas. Im actually thinking of driving home to Toronto tonight, to get me some Ultra 94. The talon runs soo much better with it.

Hold a mason jar to your ass. I don't know about you, but my morning wake up call is about 104.2 octane.

Everytime I run it though, I do get a hell of a lot of knock. Girlfriend doesn't like it when I wake her up with a shot of warm moist air on her leg.

Points, don't neccessarily add up to any real world value, at one point (rimshot) 'points' were 0.1 RON (not R+M/2), and now are often 0.01 RON. Marketing at it's finest.

Looks like the NOS brand upped the octane 1.8 RON, for the sum of around 16$. At the (10c roughly) cost of 94 over 91, that'd be around 160 liters of the good stuff, at +3 octane (R+M/2) instead of +1.8 ron.

If 94's unavailible, Toluene would be your next best friend, followed up by Ryan's ass. YMMV, make sure to feed him the high test taco-bell sauce.

I'm sure you'd have NO problem finding high-octane stuff in Montreal or Hull, whichever is closer. No need to drive all the way to T-Dot.

I concur with Troy's suggestion, and I know for SURE you can get 94 octane if you are close to any fair-sized city in Québec. Worst case scenario, pull out the yellow pages and try to find the gas stations nearest to you and call around, you can't go wrong unless the person who answers has no idea what the hell octane is...

I actually started 'getting it' a few posts back... I'm not sure the gas stations will be advertising 'Octane' in the Yellow Pages. Anywhere. Except maybe Amsterdam.

Well, I'm pretty sure I stated to look up gas stations and not octane. You have to ask the gas station about their octane, though.

i spent Christmas and New Years this year in Amsterdam. I couldn't get over the fact they sell high grade octane and every corner shop - highly recommended.
