Helder, Kevin, myself and a couple buddies ended up at Cayuga today. As soon as tech saw Helder's car they would not let him run because he had no roll cage. I was waiting for my keydiver chip to come in on Friday, but no show, so a big special thanks to Kevin K for lending me his dsmlink, yep VPC + DSMLINK! Works sweet. I threw in the 1000cc's late last night, no tuning and went home. 28 psi on the FP3065 and my best time was: 60' 1.771 330 4.895 1/8 7.38 mph 98.50 1000 9.586 1/4 11.406 mph 125.97 Best mph was 126.97. I would have gone faster but a wire broke on my VPC sensor and this is the best I could net, as tuning started getting really wack after that. Car was ALL OVER the place in 2nd and 3rd, absolutely no traction in 1st, and they did not prep the track at all. Other than that, car is running super strong Oh yes and same crazy timing maps as before!

Reza, you ROCK! Did they boot you for a cage or what?

No for some odd reason, they never say anything to me. Maybe cause its a full weight street car, with full leather interior.

Yeah, and then they see you run damned near a 10 second pass (Which I KNOW you'll run this year) and go "HOLY sh!t!"
Great run there Reza! Hope your tranny holds together this year with all that power!
Do you plan on running out to Magnus this year to Dyno?

I have never been to a dyno, and I like tuning myself at the track. Makes a more killer street car. I know 10's ain't that easy, but I can certainly smell it in the air this summer.

Man, you ran an 11.4 on the new FP3065. Wait until your keydriver chip gets in!
Maybe try staging while pulling the E-Brake (I.E Suspension preload) and you'll snap a better 60', possibly increasing your ET. I've seen your launches, they're pretty hard.
Have you thought about shaving a few pounds off the beast?

The link is awesome and soo easy to use. The settings I had on the link were very similar to what I ordered on the chip, and the chip already has a custom target AFR as you know. I don't have a wideband yet so I didn't want to go too crazy with cranking the boost up. I also had and still have my Super AFC wired up: AFC, VPC and DSMlink. You probably wonder why but I could lean out the 1000rpm even further to get the car to idle smooth with the VPC, and it worked flawless, with everthing else zeroed out. Obviously dsmlink is better than the chip, but if you know what tune you need to dial in: $20 for another chip, or $600 for dsmlink. Take your pick

It definately is Paul, and I'm not even using it at its full potential You'll certainly have some fun with that new HTA. Keydiver chip is in, and the car is just rediculous now with no tuning at all.

Went back out today and ran another personal best. Pulled up at the track, took out all the tools and went for a run. 1st run car pretty much cooked the wheels in first and second, and backing off once to gain traction. 29 psi 1.868 4.986 7.469 97.70 9.613 11.387 128.87 I lowered the tire pressure, did some toonin, and cranked the boost up to crack a 10. Went for a second pass and top of first while the wheels were cooking I snapped the driveshaft in half clean, right from the center u joint CAA... towed the car home... slapped on my spare driveshaft...she's all ready to do it again. Car is making insane power

Good job Reza! Nice numbers, and when you're making enough power to snap your driveshaft clean in half, you know you've got it just right. All this on a stock rebuild. Amazing!

C16, as I was planning on running atleast 35 psi. I think the run I broke on I had the boost around 36 psi, as since then I put the boost controller down like 3 turns and its at 32 psi now. 32 psi with pump gas and meth, or C16, it runs the same. I will be sticking with C16 and lots of boost at the track this year

I see a roduth don exodus this year for you Reza. 10's or bust. You're a mad man and I love it. 36 psi on a stock block, that's one for the record books, and all you broke was a driveshaft!
