If it was on a Saturday night I would make the trek down, however it's on a Friday.

Have fun guys!

Well well well!!! What can I say.

Did a bunch of pass and pretty much sucked at it, or the car did...

Best time was 12.9 at 106 with a .6RT and 1.7 for 60'. Other runs were in the low to mid 13...

First run was against Paul Sitarski. Let me tell you that it did not take too long for me to see his rear Bumper. Again, Mustang were plentyfull. I tought he new one were fast, not. Nice blue one did 14.4 at 102.

Ghislain.

The new Mustangs aren't as fast as they look. 12.9 isn't too bad, Ghis. Anyone take video of this event? smile

Tim H had his fancy camera with him. I know that he took some stills but ain't sure about roolings. He got a few shot of me ride, maybe he could post.

I know that it is not that bad, but I was hoping for some mid 12ve rather than beating up Mustang by a meare second. Would of been fum to kill them with 2!!!

Call me cruel, that is ok.

I got 12.2/119.6 best with slow launch and VERY humid day at 24psi. LAst run my trnsistor pack got unplugged and the car stalled top of 2nd gear bouncing off the limiter at 8k. On the way home i noticed that i only get 10psi of boost. My wastegate is shot...I got a vid of me and Ghis racing will post it soon.

Yes, please post it.

Tim told me about your Transistor mayhem. He said that at first you tought the Motor was shot. I would of $#it my pants.

I looked into my funky idle today. Stupid o2 to Downpipe Flange Gasket was shot and was screwing up the o2 readings.

Should be much better next time.

Ghislain.

I gave all I had off the line, sucked at it.

Their was no traction. Paul is a little more timid off the line as I tend to be. He defenately got the top end. Heck, you'd defenately be deep into the 11 if you'd "cough" it like you stole it... Me been a bugger.

At last, I like the puff of smoke I gve off toward the end of the run. My contribution to global warming.

AHHHAHAHAH Good one Giz;

Speaking of blowing up, Giz what was that nice puff at the end of the track for you, looks like your 3-4 shift.

Were you running antilag?

Not then. Just a bad case of something.

I tried the Antilag on the last run. Did a bunch of noise but the car cough up a bit because of fuel starvation.

He still runs in the 14's.
But thats also with 1000lbs of stereo, Bondo and fiberglass added to the car running through a tiny restrictive intercooler.

Has he got the Turbo 2.8 in that car? I see it all the time. Not bad for a bondo buggy.

Turbo'd 3.2 I believe, with the size of the snail he has in it it should be ALOT faster than 14's but alas he is running no ECU support, just an extra couple of injectors with an injector driver to compensate for the increased airflow.
He claims traction issue are keeping him from running quicker, but hey, it's a "show" car not a drag car.

Tim's close, it's a 3.1L 60 degree V6. It's the engine that the Berettas came with (And 90 to 94 Cavalier Z24s). For a few years before they were GTPs the Grand Prixs were called TGPs and came with Turbo'd versions of that same 3.1 engine. I thought this would have been a better base engine to start from. And Adam, it's basically the same engine as the 2.8, which is what they came with prior to 1990, just a different stroke.
