yes it bolts to the block and then to the bottom of the intake. I dont need to use it? isnt it to prevent vibration which will loosin up bolts on the intake?

The intake Support stand? You don't need it? Thought maybe you would. This is the piece UNDER the intake where your knock sensor is right?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It supports the Intake manifold underneath it.
The one Rob was referring to was the bracket you use when you hoist your engine out, it's bolted to the CAS and Throttle Body Elbow.
