So I'm just cruising to my gf's on the Gardiner-427w when a canary yellow Cobalt SS shows up on my bumper (I was doing 110 km/h) in the middle lane as I was passing slower traffic.
After I passed the slower traffic, I moved to the next lane on the right (which is now the third "fast" lane since the highway is expanded at that point).
The Cobalt is still on my rear bumper, eventually he pulls up beside me, window down, staring at me out the window, I glance over and notice his car is completely stickered on the front quarter panel.
He nudges his had forward, revs his engine, then drops a gear and guns it. I laugh crossing my fingers that he gets nailed, but that didn't happen.

In one week I've had a Monte Carlo SS, a Cobalt SS, and an SL55 AMG all try to run me on the highway.
What's wrong with people?

I've had that happen a few times here in Sudbury. Civics, Grand-Am's, some GTI's etc.

I shake my head.

People try to race me all the time too, little do they know, I am rockin' the mighty 420A. I just give them the laugh and head shake.

I usually give them the BOV and that keeps them at bay. Either they back off or gun it.

I almost forgot what 2nd and reverse gear feels like.

I always give them atleast two short pulls within the limit and a 5500rpm studder box launch with my 6-puck clutch if they try to play, Then they know to frack off. I don't even look at them the hole time and rarely give a nod unless they earn it, I guess I'm a bit of a dick that way tongue.

Gotta love that an AMG SLK55 tries racing a n/t 1g Talon. WTF. I had a guy pull up beside me in an Porsche Carerra S the other day on Hurontario in my Spyder. He started revving his engine looking at me. I just laughed at him. Like I would honestly be that stupid. Even if I was willing to race somebody on the street, it would be somebody who I might stand a chance against. Anyways, he launched and floored it like a bat out of hell. My adrenaline was going just watching that thing go. Sounded awesome and was frackin fast. Way to keep your cool on the streets Kobie. You walked away the better man. Wouldn't have been worth it.
