What group buy should we have this year?

Is there anything anyone is interested in that we could buy by the masses and save us all some money, make Andy some money and Ziggy some money (if he's willing).

Anyone have any ideas?

Body parts does seem interesting, just very hard to ship.

We've had some pretty good group buys on here, especially last years with the PR parts.

I don't know about Cam Gears, not many run them.

Clutches is a great idea, so are cams.

What does everyone NEED? Maybe make a list and we'll go from there, see what the greater demand is for.

We have done cams and clutches before. We have also done widebands, and Walbro fuel pumps if I remember correctly. I would not mind doing another buy, though I WOULD like the last few guys to get their vaccuum hoses from me, and I would like the calendars paid for before I tackle another buy, but that doesn't mean we can't start thinking/talking about it.

Slicks, I don't think there would be enough serious interest, and there is SO little money in slicks...I make almost nothing anyways, and when I do a group buy, the savings generally comes out of my profit and the savings on shipping. I don't usually get much of a discount if at all for ordering 10 or 20 of something instead of the 2,3, 5, or possibly 10 that I usually order.

Cam gears...again, not sure there would be enough demand. Did we do a group buy on the clear timing gear covers? I think we did, and I think most people have those by now.

V3? Is that referring to DSM Link V3? I think everyone on here SHOULD know that I won't sell DSM Link, and I won't sell to Helder's fan club either, so not sure why Aaron is making suggestions? Unless he figures Ryan is going to run this?

Intercoolers there is some room in the pricing on Yonaka ones, and we can save a lot by getting a bunch shipped all together. That would be a possibility, but we did do the PR ones already.

I have also been offering a "deal of the week" and a "deal of the month" through my webstore, and those prices are as good as I can do on a group buy also. Like right now, there are AEM Uego on there, AEM digital boost gauge, and No-Name universal mufflers at terrific prices.

Other items I could think of where there could be some savings in doing a group buy:

Mishimoto rads
Devils Own meth kits (Did we do a group buy on these already?)
Megan Racing downpipes and/or strut tower bars? - not a lot of room on the pricing, but could maybe save some on shipping several units at once?

Rads would be an awesome idea.

We did a meth kit group buy 2 years ago, last year it was Punishment Racing.

I'm sure rads would be a big hit, the mishimoto ones are all the rave on the link board, and if we can get fans with them, that's great.

Yonaka makes a great core, I've run one, Reza swears by them, and several on the board have used them before.

What about suspension setups and camber kits? Shipping on these are pretty expensive id imagine, and we could save buying them all together.

I am open to anything. Yonaka also makes a nice rad for the 2g, but they have been back ordered forever. If we are going to do a buy on Mishimoto rads, I am sure we could include the fans and possibly other Mishimoto items...

Brakes aren't a common thing most guys upgrade. Maybe a rotor/pad combo, but I doubt there would be much interest.

Injectors is definitely a possibility, shipping isn't much on them, but I'm sure we could save money if we bought in bulk.

I like the Rad/Fan/Hose idea.

stainless braided brake lines, and stainless clutch lines?

I think anything stock that wears out and is often replaced anyways would have a good turnout for a group buy. Even though I already got a couple good rads laying around, thats a good idea.

Stock.

Id like the brake line ideas. I am just keeping stock single pistons for awhile.

or injectors either or I do plan on upgrading this spring time.

Well, I still have to get the last few vacuum hose kits delivered, and these calendars out of the way. After that, let's wait and see if I am still a member on this board....

What about drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads that are an oem replacement? You could put me down for a set of those.

lets see the downpipe or anything exhaust sounds good to me as that is the next priority before spring, clutches sounds good but im not shure if i have a huge amount of money to be spending when my exhaust is out of the way, rads sounded good, suspension sounded good, what about oil filters? though they are somewhat cheap already...

These are small time items most already have. Not really going to save any money on a big purchase, maybe 2-5 bucks a piece.

Let's narrow it down. Respond with your choice.

Injectors

actually could I use larger injectors on a stock setup to flow fuel better when the day comes for an upgraded turbo? or does that mess with the computer too and require engine management:S
not shure fuel pumps make sense with the injectors?

You don't need a fuel pump with larger injectors, you do need something to control those larger injectors.

You will eventually need a fuel pump.
