Has anyone experienced a problem when installing the cylinder
bushing into the shifter - it being too tight and having to move the shifter back to center after moving the shifter to the right or left?

Did you keep the 2 plastic end pieces on the cylinder bushing, When I put both plastic pieces on, the shifter does not return to center, as if the spring is not doing its job.

I left one plastic end piece off - but there is way too much side to side play!

any suggestions?
