Sooooo I installed my new brakes, and I was out driving, WOT and POP strange noises from the rear end. I pulled over and one of my rear axles was dangling on the ground.

Might not make it on Saturday. Welded center dif got me home though (only about 1/2km from home).

Took the axle out in about 50 little pieces and I'm trying to get a new one by tomorrow :S.

What's the tally for how many people are still going?

Updates: Got a new axle seal by some freak chance of luck, CV tech couldn't rebuild my axle i had mangled it to badly, stopped by a few junk yards and found a new one, slapped it all back together. Works so far.

Disaster averted.

I'm still in for Saturday.

So much for having a few days off from work lol, I hate cars.

I've changed just about everything on the car.

short list would be something like:

1000injectors
ECMlink

forged block
shep tranny
ptt twin disk

Over all I was a little disappointed with it given what I put into it since last year (11.8 @ 121 on stock block and tranny)
