On different forums I keep reading that the ACT 2600 is not reliable. I did have an issue with this clutch but heard they have solved the issue with the springs. Are there any more issues with this brand before I purchase it again, or go with exedy?

I've never heard of the 2600 being unreliable. I'm on my second one, no problems over about 150,000 KM of use.

From the DSMtalk forum they mention that the ACT 2600 is to be avoided. Maybe its the disk and Pressure 2600 combo that is unreliable?

I ran the 2600 no problems. The pressure plate WAS not the problem, it was the disc. The discs have since been redesigned.

Don't listen to the noobs on toonerz. wink
