I was pissed that no one followed the let the people behind you catch up rule, I was leading our last section a good while boosting like crazy tring to catch up. No amazing times I remember, Just alot of fun meeting everyone. And a crazy vette took a run and its targa roof flew off. Same vette I followed half the way there lol. Leaving was more fun and relaxed. like a train of ten or more of us, but they all went to the bar and I came home. Or so in, and more around the bend, waiting to turn left in! What a day. Just so everyone knows, my shifter linkage broke 1st run. Zip tied it 2nd run, it kinda held, but boost controller was not controlling, then 3rd run zip tie broke lol. Definatly looking forward to going back soon. Duramax

The only thing that did not turn out so great was the actual cruise. The people at the front of the cruise should have waited for the other cars who got stuck at lights etc. This led to the "cruise" being divided into small groups and some of us had no idea where we were going but in the end, we all made it through. That being said, can we organize the next cruise a little better as far as roads are concerned and choose the roads with the least amount of lights? lol In general it was great tho. That was my first meet, super awesome cruising with so many dsm's. The track sorta sucked, got old pretty fast with those mini dragsters, and snow mobiles taking up half the afternoon. Wrenching into the weekend to get the car ready, 4 hours sleep, add oil and water and it's ON. Yeah that's why I didn't race Sorry I couldn't meet up for the first two legs of the cruise. Somehow I still beat the convoy to Mud St! (starting from Appleby/Britannia @ ~10:30) I guess we'll have to leave 30 minutes of buffer time per stop, have less stops, streets with less lights (bottom of Guelph Line might not have been the best choice), rear view discipline and FRS radios. Hey, don't kill the map messenger man Anyone else get a sunburn? //edit Oh yeah and thanks to all those who made it out, for great proof that DSM Canada is still alive!
